Blum; Synopsis & Educational Value: This video demonstrates the individual steps of myopia and myopic astigmatism correction by FLEx procedure, where both, a flap and a lenticule of intrastromal corneal tissue are simultaneously cut using Carl Zeiss Meditec VisuMax femtosecond laser. Thereafter, the lenticule is manually removed and the flap repositioned. The present prospective study has shown the FLEx to be a promising corneal refractive method.
